2019 State of the State Address KanCare Rally

Three votes short. That’s how close Kansas came to expanding KanCare during the 2017-2018 Legislature after Governor Brownback’s veto.
But now there is a new Governor being sworn in and new faces in Legislature, and we have a chance to make expanding KanCare a reality for hardworking Kansans across the state.

Governor-elect Laura Kelly’s first State of the State address is taking place Wednesday January 16th, and we want our legislators to know that now is the time to Expand KanCare.

So please join Alliance for a Healthy Kansas for a rally in the Capitol before Laura Kelly’s first State of the State and let's fill the statehouse with Kansans who are ready to Expand KanCare.

What: 2019 State of the State Address Rally
When: Wednesday, January 16
Time: 5:00 pm
Where: Kansas Statehouse | SW 8th & SW Van Buren | Old Supreme Room (346-S) | Topeka
